Despite the heavy rain I was able to ride a taxi going to Baguio Country Club for the Department Of Tourism search for the Best Tourism Village Awarding. I went inside Cordillera hall, looked for the table of the iShilan people, left my pasiking and of course went straight to the pika pika set up where i met with Sirs Orly Pacya and Valred Olsim. After a sumptuous meal, i went back to the iShilan table where Rushelle Montes - Lictag , Dario Montes Sr. Aldrin R. Ciano and team Shilan where sitting. Syempre we waited patiently while participating on the program. Then the awarding came... hearts beating... eyes rolling, hands sweating... sixth (100k), fifth (100k), fourth(100k), third (P200,000) then SECOND PLACE - SHILAN COMMUNITY VILLAGE! P500,000.00 Cash award! Every iShilan was happy, clapping and was enjoying the victorious moment. Then we were called on stage, got the award, picture pirture, went for more photo ops at the big tarp at the back, went back to our table, enjoyed the food served by BCC, enjoyed more photos then time to go home. Oh by the way, I am not from Shilan. I was their film director, script writer, editor and somewhat a consultant for the competition. We developed good friendship and that's why on the table assigned for Shilan, I was one hour late but one vacant chair was waiting for me, a heartful feeling. It was a good back to back achievement within a day and i share this happy feeling to everyone. Love you all!
