Dean Michael Cuanso is a social entrepreneur, trainer and resource speaker. He is based in
Baguio City and La Trinidad. In his teens, He joined numerous trade fairs and
was the youngest Impakabsat exhibitor in the late 1990’s and has been an
entrepreneur ever since. He is currently the Operations Officer of Accents and Petals
Philippines and the owner of Watwatworld Creative Media – a Photography, video
and editing company. He is a professional photographer and a certified Online
and Digital Marketing Entrepreneur. He has mentored numerous MSMEs since 2007.
He is a resource speaker for visual marketing, basic business mindset, photography, business
pitching, entrepreneurship and social media and online marketing by government
agencies, educational institutions and corporations.
AS A RESOURCE SPEAKER, He is a mentor and resource speaker for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), LGUs, Schools and private organizations.
AS AN ADVOCATE, He leads AUSOME NORTH, a start-up organization that advocates autism and awareness support in the Cordillera Administrative Region. He also founded One nature One Community (ONOC) in 2011, the primary purpose was tree planting, tree parenting and forest bathing. He is also an advocate for paper recycling thru his handmade paper crafts.
AS AN ARTIST, Dean is one of the first young artists of Tam-awan Village in 1997 - 2000. His works were mostly hand painted t-shirts and mixed media arts works. He is still painting his own t-shirts and makes handmade papers.
AS A PHOTOGRAPHER, Dean is a "practicing photographer". From the point and shoot days of film to digicam to DSLR to mirrorless cameras, his passion for photography developed into a useful skill. Today, he is into documentary, films and special events like weddings and festivals. As a photographer, He believes that the best photos/videos for special events are those that were captured, printed and preserved in its natural form with minimal manipulation or use of artificial intelligence (AI).
From a single freelance operation, dean created watwatworld creative media to encourage other photographers and videographers to work with him on projects. Today, Watwatworld Creative Media has grown to 12 freelance photographers and videographers. Watwatworld Photography excels in traditional Cordillera and modern wedding coverages. We also do project documentations, audio visual presentations and video highlights for government programs. We understand the culture and tradition surrounding highland festivities and the needed documentation of clients.
AS AN ONLINE CONTENT CREATOR, Dean started during the early days of blogging (written). He started blogging in 2007 and was active in the blogging community until 2014. His blogs focused on travel and adventure, culture and traditions, food, local news and politics, business reviews and features. With the entry of social media, he stopped blogging and started his social media pages focusing mainly on entrepreneurship, photography and his advocacies.
